Need to get stuff done? The Outback delivers with a permanent Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and a dependable 2.5L petrol Boxer engine. This is the most advanced, refined, and safest Outback yet, with over 15 driver assistance systems and the best AWD system in the business. With 169PS and 252Nm of torque, it performs brilliantly, while handy features like an electric parking brake and SUBARU Intelligent Drive (driver-selectable modes tailored to suit different conditions) make every journey easy. 

Trim grades include Limited, Field, and Touring. Touring tops the range with a memory driver’s seat, Nappa leather upholstery, roof rails with cross bars, a powered tilt and slide sunroof, Harman/Kardon® Audio, and Multi-View Monitor (front and side). Field models get a black pack, eco-leather seats, a heated steering wheel, and a powered tailgate. All versions have heated front and rear outer seats, LED headlights, 18” alloys, reclining rear seats, rear parking sensors, a rear camera, and an 11.6” tablet-style touchscreen.

Design

The all-new Outback has rugged good looks, with chunky wheel arches, a high ground clearance, roof bars and LED headlights. It’s built for any adventure, and the cabin is built to last with tactile materials.

Drive

The updated 2.5L Boxer engine kicks out 169PS and 252Nm of torque, delivering great performance and fuel economy of 32.8mpg combined. It’s a smooth, reliable engine with maximum torque available at 3,800rpm.

Practicality

A rugged estate with a sporty personality, the all-new Outback stands out with a raised suspension, chunky wheel arches, roof bars and 18” alloys. Field models have a black pack, with gloss black detailing and black roof bars.

Living with it

The 11.6” tablet-style touchscreen offers a class-leading experience, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and in-built navigation in Field and Touring. Touring models also get Harman/Kardon® Audio.
